The Terms:
COMPLIANCE
Using this website and placing an order through the website is
notification that you agree and will comply with our terms and
conditions. These terms and conditions will be updated
occasionally, please check them before making your purchase.
DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICING
1. All descriptions are as on our website at time of ordering.
2. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure items
are suitable for the purposes intended.
3. Indoor/Outdoor use: Please be aware that certain amounts of
colour fading are to be expected as with any types of fabric
if items are exposed to strong direct sunlight for extended
periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors. A product
showing a 'suitable for outdoors' logo is deemed suitable for
outdoor use in the context of potentialy adverse weather
conditions that may cause other, non such suitable products,
to physically deteriorate to exhibit cracks, tears or other
such physical damages. A product 'suitable for outdoors' is
deemed to withstand these types of weather (but reasonable
exclusions such as hurricanes, snow storms, etc. do apply).
4. All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (GBP).
5. All prices include VAT at the present UK rate of 15%
unless explicitly stated otherwise. Deco-office is
VAT registered in the UK, no. GB-935633020.
6. All prices are exclusive of postage and packaging, unless
otherwise stated. You will be given the total price of the
transaction before you complete your purchase. There are no
hidden extra costs.
7. In the rare event that an item is incorrectly priced on the
website, Deco-office reserves the right to ask for payment
of the correct price instead.
PRODUCT SAFETY
1. Our products are for use as decoration only. They are in
particular not intended for use as or near foodstuffs.
2. Small parts may pose a swallowing risk to young children,
do not allow children access to artificial plants or trees.
3. Plastic bags used in packaging may pose suffocation risk
to young children. Always keep plastic bags out of reach
and make sure children are supervised while unpacking.
PAYMENT
1. Payments must be made in Pound Sterling (GBP) only. When you
have completed your selection you are automatically
transferred to the PayPal secure server.
Payment can then be made using a PayPal account, using a
debit card (including Switch, Maestro, Visa Delta, ...), or
using a credit card (including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, ...).
You can also use electronic bank transfer (BACS) or make a
cheque/cash payment at any branch of Barclays Bank plc.
To do so, please contact us for arrangements to be made.
2. Once the transaction is confirmed Deco-office will send
your order as soon as possible followed by a confirmation of
despatch message.
DELIVERY
1. If we cannot despatch an item to you due to wrong listing or
unavailable stock, we will notify you and at your request will
cancel the order and refund you in full.
2. A signature will be required. Goods cannot be left unattended.
3. Once the item(s) have been delivered to the delivery address provided
it is no longer the responsibility of Deco-office. Refunds cannot be
given if your order is not passed on to the main recipient.
4. Deco-office will not be held responsible for delays in the delivery
caused by the Royal Mail, ParcelForce or any other couriers.
ACCEPTANCE
1. The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time after
their receipt. Errors must be notified to Deco-office within 48 hours
of receipt.
GUARANTEE REFUNDS AND RETURNED GOODS
1. We offer a simple 7 Day Money Back Guarantee. If any item is
not what you required then please notify us by email/post
(stating reason for return) within 7 days of receipt. We will
then issue you with either a refund or allow you to exchange the
item for something else instead. Please note that postage costs
on the original order cannot be refunded.
2. Please send items back via recorded delivery for your own proof of
delivery. This postage cost is not reimbursed (unless item is damaged/faulty).
3. Please check your goods on delivery. If items do arrive damaged/faulty
please let us know within 48 hours and arrange to post them back to us
via recorded delivery. We will reimburse you these extra postage costs.
If you do not inform us within 48 hours, then we shall have no liability
for items said to be damaged/faulty on delivery.

COMMUNICATION
1. Communication by email for all above purposes is deemed to be sufficient
and is the preferred method of exchange.
2. Deco-office can accept no liability for problems resulting from errors
in communication, including but not limited to: lost emails, lost post,
interception by third parties, alteration in transit, virus infection,
spam filtering and other automatic blocking, technical faults, power cuts,
and lost internet connectivity. For more information please also refer

STATUTORY RIGHTS
1. Nothing in these terms shall affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
